You can set the turrets to zero, all the stealth tacticals have turret caps, you use the hex wrench and take them off, zero the scope then put the caps back on at zero, then you can adjust for wind and elevation. seriously read the directions.

I got the scope to avoid using a spotter scope at the range, especially when testing reloads. For that, works great on targets.
Exit pupil range and eye relief do not make it easy for high magnification use in the field however. But for the money, great for seeing where you're putting each round at the range. Holds zero, even on quick detach mounts. The turrets lock in place, which is a feature that should be on every scope ever made. The twist cap covers work for me on a 6.8, but really add a lot of size to the scope that isn't necessary. Butler caps would be the solution to those that want it, and I believe the caps on the front hurt overall light transmission.

Great scope overall, holds zero very well, no problems there. But the scope's shutter system(the lens cover), could not hold up to 270win recoil. I have since took all of the plastic individual pieces out so the shutter system is no longer there. You can also not reset the zero. Over all, don't let this review be a let down. THIS SCOPE HOLDS ITS ZERO WELL, and is great for the money. I can see .277 bullet holes at 200m. I will be buying the Platinum series next.

I bought this riflescope thinking i was getting a good deal, then i put it up against a bushnell legend 5-15x40 and it blew the stealth tactical away, then i looked at the 5-15x40 3200 tactical and there it was exactly what i wanted, maybe this will hold up to my .308

So far I am very impressed with the STS624X44, especially for the price. I have been shooting with it out past 600 yards using the MOA Adjustments and they are very consistant when I return to zero. when Traveling I packed the rifle and scope in the back of my pickup in -20degree weather and the scope help up great. The scope is heavy and cunstruction seems very solid. The only down side I see is the fact that you cant adjust the turrets to zero after you sight in and there is no zero stop but what can you ask for at this price. If you want to go tactical without spending $1,500 + this is the scope for you
