I have this scope mounted on an old Parker-Hale 30-06. I had to buy extremely tall mounts to clear the Mauser 98 bolt, though. The rear housing is incredibly "fat" because of the Twist Cap and housing. The optics are very clear, the turrets are crisp, the reticle is precise, and the zoom adjustments are firm. I took two deer with it this past season. The Twist Cap iris system is flimsy, though, and mine broke from basic use. BSA warranty was quite good, replacing the scope in an acceptable amount of time (I sent it back after the season was over). I may end up putting this on my AR and getting a Majestic for my Parker-Hale. We'll see.

i bought this scope at dunhams for $102.00 including tax [had a 20% off coupon], by far the best money i have spent in a while, put it on my cz 452 trainer in 22lr and after 10 sight in shots i am getting 3/8 inch groups at 50 yards, this is by far more clear than my nikon monarch and just as clear as my leopold, i can easily see a playing card set sideways at 10 yards on full 9 power and cut it in half with a 22 bullet offhand, its built like a tank and permits my trainer to shoot like a laser. My only negitive is no reset to zero feature but a little dot of white paint took care of that, after shimming the rear ring i can easily hit a 10 inch gong at 225 yards [rested of course] buy this one its a winner, rich

I heard this was dropped from the BSA line. This is a good scope so it comes to reason why this would happen. The optics are great on this and seems to handle what the weather throws out.Get one while you can.

I got this scope for my benjanin trail np, because the scope that came on it was a piece of crap. This bsa scope is made for accuracy with its 1/8 at 100 yard turrets and its fine crosshairs. The turrets ar very accurate witch is important for longrange hunting/plinking. This is a all around vercital scope, from .177 pellet rifles to .243 varminting. This scope is highly recomended for all shooting especially varminting.

well, it holds its zero pretty good, i have a polytech 308 rifle that kicks like a mule, and the scope is very accurate, those "shutter" type lens cover, well, not so much: the front one broke on the first day, still a good buy for under 200 $
