Perfect scope for the Ruger 10/22 Takedown. The compact size allows mounting of the scope on the Ruger 10/22 Takedown and still having the disassembled rifle fit in the custom bag that comes with the rifle. Clear, easy to sight in, easy to adjust, and holds zero. I plan on buying 2 more of these scopes for other rifles I own.

This scope is pure beast I got it on a colt m4 .22 which I would recommend but anyway the scope looks very good on it and works perfect I would recommend the the single risers that are two that lift up the scope.

This is my 2nd BSA scope now and this is the best scope I found that is a simple fixed power with mildots. The mildots are not accurate for ranging but they are useful for hold over. It's a great scope IMHO.

Update - mounted on a 10/22; dime size groups at 25 yds, silver dollar size at 100 yds. Had some difficulty at first with the windage dial. It was a bit on the tight size, but after working it a bit, it freed up and worked as expected. Still think this is a great value for the buck.

Works well as a compact scope on Marlin Lever action rifles. Put one on my .444 Marlin and so far it's held zero on a high recoil rifle. Gonna get a second for my 30-30 Win.

I bought this scope to mount on my new Savage MkII FV bolt action .22LR. Had to use rear set mounts to get it on but it works beautifully. Because the rifle is a heavy barrel, I needed to keep weight down and this one fit the bill. I spend hours out on the prairies varmint shooting with this rig and am making regular hits 200 yds and beyond with it! Can't use a variable in this game as the ground squirrels are just too quick to allow such fiddling around. The Mil-Dot reticle definitely is an asset working with so many targets at so many different ranges. All one needs to do is get it zeroed and, spend the time shooting at distances to get a "feel" or "eye" for hold over/off and, WOW! You're a super-sniper! This one's a keeper!

I have several BSA scopes. People say they are junk. I disagree. I shot a .076 c-to-c group for three .223 rounds through one, am able to pop the heads off squirrels at 200 yards with another and can see a fly on a stucco wall (the stucco texture, too) at 60 yards with my Sweet 17. Only problem with the 17 is that one reset-to-zero turret had one allen screw strip out, and now I can't reset that turret. I have heard this is common on BSA scopes with this feature. Too bad. BSAs are not really all that bad a scope. Ignore what others tell you and take your own decisions...

Have not sighted in my rifle, but Iam not pleased at first glance. My turret for elevation was badly scratched, and the box for the handle was torn open and just placed in the box. The BSA seal was still in take, and Iam sure the distributor did not tamper with it. I also have a problem with the so called removeable turrets. I instructions claim to have key to remove the turret, but they are not removeable. Also, there are no mark on the tube to line up with the increments on the turret.

purchased this scope to mount on the new colt m4 .22 cal
rifle . i have put several 100 rounds thru it and this scope has performed quite well . zeroed at 25 yds in just
3 3 shot groups . backed up to 50 yds and with only a few easy clicks of elevation it was in the bull . will be trying it at 100 yds next trip to the range .
overall , i'm quite pleased with it .
i currently own several bsa scopes and am pleased with all of them
