After looking at several other brands of scopes for my Tactical Mini14, like Redfield, Nikon, Barska and Leupold I settled on the BSA Tactical TW2.5-8x36. I needed something that would mount on my monolithic top rail and deal with the recoil well....and Yes for the most part it was price that won out. I must say for the money it is a heck of a scope....clear crisp image, easy to adjust and very light. I do wish it had a little better low light performance but I cannot expect that at this price point. I would highly recommend.

After having tried well over 50 different scopes from what seems as many brands, I've come to settle on the BSA line of scopes - permanently. Quite simply, you get high quality optics and a superbly constructed platform for what seems like a mere pittance (I don't know how they do that, really).
I now own 19 different model BSA scopes, to include this gorgeous, compact/light Tactical Weapon 2.5-8x36 Tactical Weapon Scope. In fact, I purchased two - one for my CZ-527 Carbine (in 7.62 x 39), and the other on my Benelli MR-1 (a 5.56 carbine). This scope is superb, exceptionally well made, easy to adjust windage and elevation, very clear optics, and light!!!!! These tactical weapon scopes give you the performance of the much heavier Stealth Tactical Scopes (of which I own 5 also).
You just can't go wrong with this particular scope and it easily appears to be worth several hundred dollars or more (got mine for only $79 from Sportsmans Guide when they had a huge sale - talk about a dea
