I HAVE A OLD 30-6 MADE IN 1952. IT HAD A OLD WEAVER SCOPE THAT WAS GOOD FOR ME FOR 40 OR SO YEARS.I REPLACED IT WITH A BSA S39X40. AFTER 2 CLICKS I COULD BRACE AND HIT A GOLF BALL AT 80 YARDS.THE PRICE WAS RIGHT.THANK YOU BSA.

Excellent Clarity and resolution. Lacks one piece tube construction, objective bell sounds "tinny" when tapped. With a 1 year warranty it's obviously not a "Top Shelf" model, but I think it will serve it's purpose on 6.5mm Arisaka.1/4" clicks are true. Need to see how it holds up after 200-300 rounds. Only paid 31.00 w/shipping on the "Bay"

I bought this scope at the Basspro in Cincinnati, Ohio, for $29.77 +tax. It is a great scope for my purposes.(Varmint, and target practice) However, I would love to have a sunshade for it. Mostly need it for looks. I like that it is easy to use, and holds zero perfectly. Maybe the 40mm Contender sunshade might fit....ponder*
