I got one cpl years ago and never put it on bc I dropped it on my cement front porch...bent the crap out of the large end...just put it on my 7mm rem mag and 100 plus rounds down and it's holding perfect

I have this scope on a Rem 700V in .204 Ruger and with handloads and bench rest, I have consistently held 1/2" groups at 300 yds. I have had no problems with it, at all.

I mounted this scope to my .300 Win Mag rifle, I was a little concerned if this scope could handle the recoil. The scope handled it with no problem, really good scope for he money.

to begin -quote "REVIEW BY: SoCal Shooter Wednesday, May 05, 2010 My neighbor mounted this optic on his .308 caliber rifle. When he took it to the range to acquire his 100 yard zero, the reticle shifted after the second shot. This scope belongs on a rimfire, not a rifle than generates any kind of recoil. " Starts off with MY NEIGHBOR... that should tell you the level of this reviewers experience... I have had 3 of the 6-24x40IR's on three different .308 platforms. FNFAL select fire, Bolt Action 10FP, and lastly an AR-10T select fire... The only issue I ever had was the illuminated reticle on ONE of the scopes was defective from the factory. BSA replaced it ASAP. Every scope on all of my .308 rifles has held a zero from day one and continues to perform as well as my Nikon Monarch series scopes under the harshest full auto recoil... IMHO, better because I could afford 7 of the BSA vs. ONE Nikon... SoCal, buy a rifle, get some experiences of your own..

This is a very cool scope I mounted it on a Remington 700 .30-06 and it is bright clear and easy to site in the mil dots are on the money it is sturdy and it is an exceptional value. I could not be happier with this purchase.

I have this scope mounted on my Mossberg .270 and I couldn't be more satisfied. I've never missed what I was shooting at making me four-for-four on kills inluding 1/4" groupings. All around great scope.

I mounted this scope on my .204 for some beaver slaying, coyote killing action and could not be more impressed. It lets in a lot of light at night and has been dead on since the day I mounted it. Great scope, great illumination for the cross hairs, I could not ask for anything else.

I bought this scope long before I bought my Savage 12VSS in .223. I knew I was going to get a varmint rifle, just didn't know what brand or caliber. Anyway, back to the scope. I sighted the scope for 100 yards and consistemtly get 1/4 groups or less!!! I set it once and have not had to zero it again. The adjustable objective lens is a major plus on this scope, I prefer it over the turret style type because it focuses and ranges the target much quicker so I can use the correct mil-dot at distances over 100 yards. It came with a sun shade at the time I bought it and it is a great help on bright and sunny days. Great scope for the money. I've had this scope on my 12VSS for 3 years now and wouldn't change it for any reason. I now own 5 BSA scopes that are on 2 12 gauge shotguns, a Savage Mark II in .22lr rifle and a Rossi single shot rifle in .17HMR rifle. I'm going to get another 6-24x40 for my Remington 700 SPS in .22-250 that I recently bought. Do I recommend this scope, as well as BSA

I purchased this scope before Christmas as a present to myself to replace a German scope I damged (paid $1,752 for that scope). Put it on my hunting rilfe, a custom 7.62X54R made for me by my gun-smith. Used it in -12 degree weather (not counting wind chill), and bounced it around alot for nearly two weeks. I never thought it would live up to the trip. It never lost it's zero. I set the zero at 400 meters, and my longest shot was 977 meters: One shot - one kill. Like this one as much as the more expensive German glass I had.

I have this scope mounted on a savage .223 and it shoots awsome!! I use it for predator hunting and woodchucks. Can't beat this scope for the price. I shoot 1/2"groups at 100 yards and 1" groups at 200 yards (i'm not the steadiest person). I would recommend this scope to anybody.

I've had mine mounted on a Rem Sendero SF 7mm RUM since 2004. I've only sighted in once and have never had to readjust, that includes several airline trips through luggage handling. Getting ready to put an STSRGBD30LL on my Stag Arms 2T AR-15.

I just bought this scope and put it on my Rem 700 VLS chambered in .204 Ruger. This scope is awesome. I have some high end scopes and this thing is brighter. I have another BSA 3-12 X50 that I have had 6 years. It has yet to let me down. I look forward to using it at night for some coyote and fox.

This scope is great for the money and performs just as well as the higher dollar model scopes and it has worked well on the alexander 6.5 grendel ar-15 rifle with superb success.

I have had this scope for3 years and just recently lost a turret cover because I was crawling and it worked loose, other than that this is a great scope i used to have ONLY Leopold. this scope changed my mind. I now have 2 other rifles wearing B.S.A. You guys need to make it in camo finish

Awesome scope for the $. I recently bought one of these for my 17HMR and absolutly love it . I am able to shoot 1/2"-3/4" groups consistantly at 100 yards with this combo. So far it has held zero and with the illuminated reticle is a great scope for the money. Once deer season gets here I look forward to trying this scope out on my 30-06 and hopefully getting a few deer this year.

Great scope for the price. I have had it on both an AR-15 with a 24 inch barrel upper reciever, and a Remington VLS .308. The scope has consistently held it's zero and the illuminated reticle has come in handy a number of times. Though it is not a Leupold, Swavorski or Zeiss, it does not carry the price tag. I have had the scope for about three years and it has held up well. I would recommend this scope for anyone who cannot afford a "top tier" mil dot scope
